Mo Chen focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, private equity and legal matter of other areas. He has advised a number of domestic and international companies, private or publicly traded, on their restructuring and M&A deals, bot inbound and outbound. As legal advisor of private placement investors or the entities receiving investment, Mo has provided such legal services as carrying out due diligence investigation, structuring transaction, participating in business negotiation, drafting legal documents, providing legal advice, etc. Mo has also served as external general legal counsel to several companies.

Mo obtained a Master of Law degree from China Foreign Affairs University and a LL.M. degree from Cornell University. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, he has worked with King & Wood Mallesons, and served as an in-house counsel with Volkswagen Finance (China) Company Limited. Mo is qualified in both China and New York State.
