Matthias Kemmer advises German and international clients on product liability, product safety and product compliance issues. His industry focus is in the automotive, aviation, energy, and consumer goods industries.

Matthias assesses legal risks for companies as they prepare to launch innovative products. He particularly focusses on product compliance. In doing so, Matthias is particularly experienced with European and German market entry requirements for products.

In addition, Matthias' practice includes advising companies on product safety law issues and topics. In particular, he has experience in identifying product safety issues and assessing corresponding risks. In this capacity, Matthias particularly advises on implementing possible (preventive) measures in the context of a product crisis and on how to deal with authorities and possible administrative actions.

Furthermore, Matthias' activities include advising companies on product liability issues. In particular, he has experience in dealing with product liability risks and represents companies with in and out-of-court product liability claims. 

During his traineeship, Matthias worked for the German Bundestag in Berlin as well as for Hogan Lovells in London and Munich.
