The work of Martin Bermes includes complex litigation proceedings before German courts as well as before international arbitration courts.
Martin advises and represents German and international clients in the area of dispute resolution in arbitral proceedings and both in and out of court. His practice focuses on contractual and corporate disputes, as well as disputes in the financial sector.
Martin studied law at the University of Mainz. Besides obtaining his German state exams, he participated in a corporate law related LL.M. program at the University of Glasgow. Martin served his legal traineeship (Referendariat) at the Higher Regional Court in Koblenz and part of it at the German University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer. During his studies and his traineeship, Martin worked for an international law firm in the area of finance.
