The primary focus of Lukas Wollenschlaeger's legal work is on technical property rights. He advises national and international companies on patent and utility model infringement disputes as well as the corresponding validity proceedings. Lukas has particular experience in the field of life sciences and the telecommunications sector, as well as in the field of mechanics. Further, his expertise extends to issues relating to standard-essential patents and questions of ownership, including patent entitlement claims.

Lukas studied law at the University of Freiburg. After graduation, he worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Intellectual Property Law in Freiburg and received his doctorate in 2018; during this time, he was a doctoral fellow of the German Business Foundation. During his legal clerkship, he worked in our Düsseldorf office in the IPMT practice. Lukas is co-author of “Handbuch des Patentrechts”, the “Patent Law Handbook”, 2nd edition 2020, C.H. Beck-Verlag
