Katharina Proebstl advises national and international clients on national and cross-border financing transactions as well as financial restructurings and insolvency proceedings.
Katharina supports national and international financial institutions, corporate clients and financial investors in particular in real estate finance transactions but also in general corporate, acquisition, asset and project finance transactions. She works on all types of secured transactions, bilateral and syndicated loans, where she advises inter alia on deal structuring, documentation and due diligence. Moreover, Katharina gives advice on all general banking matters. In addition to that, Katharina works on financial restructurings and insolvency proceedings.
Katharina studied law at the University of Passau where she also completed the foreign law and language program in English Law. During her legal training she gained broad theoretical and practical knowledge of financial law. She obtained a Master of Laws Degree (LL.M.) in International Financial Law at King`s College London. Over the course of her legal traineeship she worked, inter alia at an international law firm in finance and as inhouse counsel in the legal banking & finance department of a Dax30 Company.
