Jeremy Pickles is a partner in our Investment Funds team and acts for a broad range of clients from supranational development finance institutions and pension schemes to investment banks and investment managers. He acts across a wide range of asset classes including reinsurance, credit/debt, hedge funds, infrastructure, private equity, real estate, and UCITS. His versatile practice gives him the edge in coming up with creative solutions for his clients.
He also has a vibrant listed funds practice, particularly in the infrastructure, reinsurance and real estate sectors, with a balance between issuers and bank representations. While the backbone of his practice is fund establishment, a substantial part of Jeremy's time is spent advising investors, including cornerstones, on their investments in a wide variety of funds. The complementary perspective gained from advising both managers and investors is invaluable to his practice and his clients.
Jeremy ran the deal that led to the team picking up the 'Funds Team of the Year' trophy at the prestigious 2015 'The Lawyer' Awards. Jeremy found this deal doubly satisfying as the fund was a truly innovative debt fund established to provide working capital loans to businesses that supply off-grid energy solutions that benefit impoverished communities principally in sub-Saharan Africa.
Jeremy is recognized as a key member of the 'personable team of enthusiastic lawyers' in Legal 500.
