Sihem Hassani is a senior associate in Hogan Lovells' Paris office focusing its practice on privacy, cybersecurity and TMT more generally. She also deals with a number of commercial matters and is an expert at contract drafting, including data processing agreements and data sharing agreements, and at contractual negotiation involving a wide range of matters.

She regularly advises clients from a wide variety of sectors (e.g., health, e-commerce, banking, insurance, social media, industry, retail, media, public sector) on complying with data protection and ePrivacy regulations. She has worked on projects involving complex data protection issues, such as the transfer of data outside the EU, the reuse of publicly accessible data, or the use of cookies and marketing operations. She also assists clients in conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments notably in the health sector, GDPR compliance projects and their implementation as well as in the context of personal data breach. In addition, she has also developed expertise in north african data protection laws (Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco).

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Sihem has worked in house for a major US  tech company and in French and Ango-saxon Paris based law firms where she has assisted french and international clients in complex IT projects (outsourcing, migration, etc..)

Advising a US pharamaceutical company in the outsourcing of several  internal processes and procedures 

Secondment for 7 months in the data privacy team of a major travel marketplace

Assistance of a key player in the art field for the launch of a major art fair in Paris 

Assistance of a major hotel group in the deployment of Binding corporate rules *

Assistance of a large company in the banking sector in the negotiation of various contracts related to the deployment of a new IT business solution*

Regular assistance to an industrial group for the review and negotiation of IT contracts (licensing, development, maintenance, integration)*
