With a background focused on the intersection of law, business, and sports, CJ Harrington is dedicated to offering strategic legal advice in an ever-changing world. Before joining Hogan Lovells, CJ was an associate at an elite international law firm, where his practice included international and domestic M&A transactions, secured lending transactions, initial public offerings, and other general corporate and securities matters.
During law school, CJ was the co-President of the Stanford Law Association. He also graduated with a certificate from Stanford's Graduate School of Business by completing its Stanford Ignite Executive Education program.
Representative experience
Airbus on its acquisition of U.S.-based Aerovel and its tactical unmanned aerial system, Flexrotor, designed for intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance (ISTAR) missions.
A consortium led by Josh Harris in the acquisition of the NFL’s Washington Commanders for US$6.05bn, the highest value sports franchise transaction in U.S. history.
Michele Kang in building her multi-club women’s soccer organization in purchase of Olympique Lyonnais Féminin.
The Walton-Penner Family on the US$4.65bn acquisition of the NFL's Denver Broncos, the second highest value ever paid for the acquisition of a professional sports team.
