Carolin Riessner advises German and international clients on product liability and regulatory issues as well as product safety issues and recalls. The expertise she provides her clients is primarily in the life sciences industry, particularly in the areas of pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

Carolin helps her clients with complex product liability cases, defending civil claims both in and out of German courts. She manages multinational litigation cases and coordinates the worldwide defence in various jurisdictions. Her understanding of the challenges of a consistent approach to all aspects of product liability cases and her experience in defending complex multi-jurisdictional cases – both in multi-claimant as well as mass torts litigation – is of great benefit to her clients.

Carolin actively provides clients with both the legal as well as scientific angles on their matters. In her work, she engages with each company's legal department, science and medical teams as well as additional experts and local counsel from other jurisdictions in order to provide the most comprehensive legal advice.
