Clients turn to Carolin Marx for her passion, dedication and grit in resolving their disputes around the globe. Carolin is therefore continuously instructed in complex and high value cases. Competition litigation matters following cartels or an abuse of dominance as well as supply chain matters are at the core of her practice. Carolin brings an in-depth understanding of the automotive industry to the table.
Carolin represents clients in court, in negotiations and in mediation. She has a natural talent to walk her clients' leadership and senior management through litigation strategy. She navigates complex internal and external factors to actively support her clients in their decision making process.
Handling antitrust damage cases Carolin has spent considerable time in our London Competition Litigation Team. Carolin has a strong academic background in international private and civil procedure law as well as alternative dispute resolution being a trained commercial mediator (MuCDR).
Carolin regularly publishes on competition litigation and cartel damages topics.
Carolin also brings her dedication to our Pro Bono, Community Investment and Diversity initiatives: she is a mentor in our HL BaSE program where we offer pro bono support for social enterprises. She also acts as mentor in our flagship "Debate It!" program where we teach young people public speaking skills. Carolin is regularly involved in organizing diversity events in our Munich office such as the successful "Women of Achievement" series.
