Sanchita R. Bose leverages her background in life sciences, health policy, and the law to advise clients globally on navigating complex regulatory matters in the Medical Devices industry.
Sanchita assists clients with bringing innovative medical devices to the U.S. market and tackling regulatory challenges throughout the various stages of a product’s life cycle. Her areas of expertise include providing strategic advice on premarket submissions to help clients obtain FDA clearance or approval, guiding companies on post-market compliance and enforcement matters, performing regulatory due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, and assisting with other corporate transactions. Sanchita’s background in physiology and neurobiology, together with her prior work in health policy and the pharmaceutical industry, provide a strong foundation to support cross-practice matters. She uses this intersectional experience to adeptly navigate the complex legal implications and regulatory landscapes of emerging technologies, such as combination products, novel cell, tissue, and gene therapies, artificial intelligence, and digital health.
Sanchita received her J.D. with a concentration in Health Law from the George Washington University (“GW”) Law School and MPH in Health Policy and Management from GW’s Milken Institute School of Public Health. During law school, she helped spearhead the Health Law Initiative as a Kahan Health/FDA Law Fellow. She was also part of the Rising for Justice Housing Advocacy and Litigation Clinic where she promoted housing stability for District residents and successfully defended underrepresented individuals in eviction proceedings before D.C. Superior Court.
At Hogan Lovells, Sanchita remains committed to her passion for pro bono work and maintains an active practice that includes representing and advocating on behalf of domestic violence survivors. Most recently, she was recognized on the D.C. Courts’ Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll list, with High Honors.
