Carlos is an associate in Hogan Lovells’ Corporate/M&A team in Madrid. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring transactions, corporate governance and commercial contracts. He provides advice to leading companies in the infrastructure, energy, automotive and e-commerce sectors, among others.
Since joining the Firm, he has regularly advised local and international companies on corporate law and corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions and commercial contracts.
Carlos received a Double Degree in Law and Business Administration and Management from the Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros (CUNEF) and obtained a Double Masters’ Degree in Business Law and Access to the Legal Profession from the Universidad de Navarra.

Advising Tikehau Capital on the acquisition of the biomass business of Acek Energías Renovables.
Advising Cintra on the sale of 85% of the share capital of Autopista del Sol (Ausol) to the Meridiam infrastructure fund.
Advising Sheela Foam Limited on the acquisition of a majority stake of a Spanish entity which produces polyurethane foam.
Advising the investment fund Korelya Capital in its investment in the Series D of leading home delivery company Glovo.
Advising EFS Ebrex on the acquisition of a majority stake in Black Bull, a Spanish company specialised in military logistics services.
Advising investment fund RiverRock on the acquisition of a percentage of the operating company of the University Hospital of Vigo.
