Ariel Anderson advises U.S. and multinational companies on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic transactions,  corporate governance and other corporate transactional matters.

Prior to her legal career, Ariel worked in the life sciences and real estate industries, and is able to draw on her management and administrative experience to help clients effectively execute complex business transactions. She has represented public and private companies in a variety of sectors, including real estate, technology, industrials, defense, and health care. Ariel's transactional experience includes public company mergers, private acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, investments and public offerings. Ariel regularly counsels companies and their boards on corporate governance, SEC disclosure, listing requirements, and related compliance matters

Ariel served as the diversity editor of the Georgetown Journal of International Law. She was also a member of the Communications & Technology Law Clinic at the Institute for Public Representation, where she advised a nonprofit client on regulatory issues concerning the rights of tribal governments to conduct historic preservation reviews on telecommunications installations. During law school Ariel completed over 200 hours in community service and pro bono matters as a law student and an officer of the Georgetown Black Law Students Association. She maintains an active pro bono practice and a commitment to diversity in the legal field.

FLIR Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: FLIR) in its merger with Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE: TDY) for stock and cash valued at US$8.2bn.


QTS Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: QTS) in its sale to affiliates of Blackstone Inc. (NYSE: BX), valued at US$10bn including assumption of debt.


Transurban in its US$2.1bn sale of a 50 percent interest in its Transurban Chesapeake assets, including multiple toll roads.

Bridgestone Americas on its US$391m acquisition of fleet management software provider Azuga Holdings, Inc.

Adobe Inc. on the issuance of US$3.15bn in multiple tranches of senior notes.

Morgan Stanley and other underwriters in connection with the underwritten public offering of approximately US$489m of common stock of American Assets Trust, Inc., a Maryland REIT.
