As a Senior Associate in our Tax, Pensions ＆ Benefits group, clients turn to Niveda Anandan for advice on a wide range of executive compensation and employee benefit matters.
Niveda advises both public and private companies on the executive compensation and employee benefits aspects of mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, spin-offs, restructurings, bankruptcies, and other corporate transactions.
Niveda also assists in the structuring, negotiation, and management of benefits and compensation plans and arrangements, including non-qualified deferred compensation and global equity, synthetic equity-based, or other incentive-based compensation.
She has experience in designing and implementing various executive compensation and other service provider arrangements, including employment, separation, severance, retention, restrictive covenant, and change in control agreements.
In addition, Niveda frequently prepares compensation disclosures for proxy statements and other public filings.
Admitted to practice in California and Canada, Niveda has experience advising clients on Canadian labor and employment matters. While at the University of Toronto, Niveda served as Associate Editor of the Indigenous Law Journal.
