Global trends in the regulation of crypto assets and other digital assets

Join the Hogan Lovells’ Digital Assets and Blockchain Team for a panel discussion on the global trends in the regulation of crypto assets and other digital assets on Wednesday, 11 October 2023, at 6.00 pm. We will be holding this event in our Frankfurt office and also online for those who cannot join in person.

Key measures of the European Union's Digital Finance Strategy, such as MiCA, DORA and the DLT Pilot Regime are currently implemented under the active guidance from various European and national oversight bodies such as ESMA, EBA and BaFin. Other jurisdictions have started their own initiatives for the regulation of crypto assets - with a particular focus on the different approaches taken by the UK regulator as well as the enforcement agencies in the U.S. This session will give an overview of the regulatory priorities in the EU, the UK and the U.S. and will compare the different approaches taken in each of these jurisdictions.

As with the other sessions of our HL Digital Finance Dialogue series, the session will take place in our panoramic Frankfurt office (and alternatively online). The session will be English.
