Webinar Series on AI, Big Data & Law

You are invited to the next session of our webinar series HL Digital Deep Dive. The session will take place on Wednesday, 13 September 2023, from 10 to 11 am CEST on the topic of digital health, the envisaged European Health Data Space and data protection.

We will examine the use of digital health, including electronic health record systems and AI-based medical devices, and take a deeper look at the governance of sensitive health data. What are the opportunities and risks of digital health? How can health data be used for research, innovation, policy and regulation? And what are the implications for privacy? These and many related questions will be answered in the light of the newly proposed legal framework of the European Health Data Space and existing legislation such as the General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Governance Protection Act. We will also consider the changes that will be brought about by forthcoming EU legislation such as the proposed AI Act, AI Liability Directive and Product Liability Directive.

As always, the presentation will be in German but all written documentation in English.
