WASHINGTON D.C., 13 December 2016 – Hogan Lovells is proud to announce that, for the eighth consecutive year, it has been recognized by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) with a 100 percent Corporate Equality Index (CEI) rating and named a best place to work for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) equality. The CEI report provides an in-depth analysis and rating of large U.S. employers and their policies and practices pertinent to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender employees.

“This honor reflects the firm’s ongoing efforts to further our commitment to equality,” said Director of Inclusion for Hogan Lovells US LLP, Leslie Richards-Yellen. “Diversity is core to our culture. This year we signed on to three business coalitions advancing LGBT rights in the workplace and have launched a flagship policy to support transgender employees in London.”

The three business coalitions Hogan Lovells joined this year include Texas Competes, Kentucky Competitive Workforce Coalition, and Human Rights Campaign’s Global Business Coalition. These organizations all give a voice to businesses that seek to provide both economically competitive and inclusive environments for workers.

CEI is a national benchmarking tool on corporate policies and practices related to LGBT employees. Businesses rated 100 percent are recognized as "Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality."
