Located right in the heart of Poland’s capital, our Warsaw office is home to 70 lawyers and up to 15 interns who work closely with their international counterparts in our network of more than 45 offices globally.

We provide tailor-made solutions for corporate mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructuring processes, and management buy-outs. Our interdisciplinary teams of multilingual lawyers focus on specific industry sectors, including banking and finance and real estate.

Advising General Electric on the US$23bn sale of its global real estate portfolio business to Blackstone Group and Wells Fargo & Co.

Advising Alstom on disposal of its €12.4bn energy business to GE, its €700m acquisition of GE’s Intelligent Transportation Solutions, and subsequent establishment of JVs in 3 energy sectors.

Advising Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management on the €290m acquisition of the Stary Browar Commerce, Art and Business Center in Poznań.

Advising Affinia Group on its US$1.3bn sale to MANN+HUMMEL HOLDING GmbH.

Advising Union Investment on the €29m acquisition of the Riviera shopping mall in Gdynia from Foncière Euris and its subsidiary Rallye.

Advising consortium of banks on a loan agreement (€342m and PLN 15 mln) for Echo Investment to refinance its shopping centers projects.

Advising Rockcastle Global Real Estate Company on the €220.8m acquisition of two shopping centers located in Southern Poland – Pogoria and Karolinka – from BlackRock.

Advising (tax and legal aspects) Getin Noble Bank (and other companies from the Getin Group) on the securitization of lease receivables (PLN 1.9 billion).

Advising PLL LOT and Eurolot on tax/legal aspects of the termination of the lease agreements for 10 Bombardier air crafts and conclusion of the new agreements.

Advising Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego on the PLN 1 billion financing of an investment program and the current operations of PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A.

Advising Kompania Węglowa S.A. on the restructuring of debt arising from medium-term secured bond issuance under the issuance program with a maximum amount of €295m.

Advising Astaldi S.p.A. on tax aspects related to the further projects implemented in Poland, including the construction of the 2nd line of underground/subway in Warsaw.

Advising Liberty Mutual Insurance Group on the sale of Liberty Ubezpieczenia, its Polish P&C insurer, to French group AXA.

Advising Deutsche Telekom, one of the world's leading integrated telecommunications companies, in trademark matters.

Advising a consortium of investors on their equity investment in the mobile virtual network operator Virgin Mobile Central and Eastern Europe.

Advising Amazon group on the acquisition of the Ivona Software group of companies.

Advising Orlen Oil in proceedings before the court hearing an appeal from Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection decision concerning the alleged infringement of competition law.

Advising SITA Zielona Energia (a subsidiary of Suez Environnement) on the first and largest Public Private Partnership (PPP) deal in the energy-from-waste sector in Poland.
