Rachel Kent recognised for her 'Outstanding Contribution to Regulatory Reform' at IFLR Europe Awards 2024

London, 25 April 2024 — Rachel Kent, Hogan Lovells Financial Services Senior Consultant and Financial Regulators Complaints Commissioner, was recognised for her Outstanding Contribution to Regulatory Reform at the IFLR Europe Awards 2024. In particular, this was for her work on the Investment Research Review (IRR) to promote better equity research aimed at boosting UK capital markets and promoting London as a more favourable listing location. Rachel's significant contribution to the Kalifa report, which outlined the future of the UK’s FinTech industry was also highlighted.

The IFLR Europe Awards focus on legally innovative cross-border transactions and innovation in financial regulation, legal tech and net-zero transition.

Rachel commented; “It's a huge honor and privilege to be recognised for my contribution to regulatory reform. As ever, a big thank you to my team for their support and excellence”.

In 2023, Rachel was named Most Innovative Practitioner in The Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Europe 2023 for her role in shaping debate and influencing government and policy makers on the UK's post-Brexit financial services industry and for the seventh year, also featured in Financial News Top 100 influential women in European Finance 2023.
