Lim Xi is an Associate in our Corporate & Finance practice with experience advising international finance institutions, lenders, power companies, developers, development banks, and local companies on aspects of doing business in Singapore, Taiwan and Southeast Asia. Lim has worked on a broad range of financial and corporate legal matters in various industries.
Representative experience
A Taiwanese independent power producer as borrower in a NT$1,683,000,000 syndicated term loan facility to finance a solar energy project with a proposed installed generation capacity of 40 MWdc.
German developer and operator of wind farms on the acquisition of a company which is developing an onshore wind project in Vietnam.
Asian government on the restructuring of a national power sector, preparation of tender documents and project agreements; reviewing and drafting related legislation and licences.
An international finance institution on its US$169m syndicated loan facility to a leading commercial bank in Cambodia, in order to finance women-owned SMEs.
An international finance institution on its first ever subscription to a Blue Bond, issued by a Philippines bank at the sum of US$100m.
An international finance institution on its convertible loan of up to US$75m to a publicly listed bank in Vietnam to support the Bank’s growth strategy and increase targeted lending to SMEs.
Local companies in the issuance of a S$18m Revolving Credit Facility and S$8.1m Term Loan, secured by a mortgage, assignment of rental proceeds, corporate guarantee and charge on all sums.*
