Insights and events
Svea Johanna Matthiessen advises on dispute resolution in and out of court, particularly in the areas of contractual, commercial and competition law.
Svea focuses on supporting clients engaged in national and international e-commerce in enforcing their claims as well as defending them against lawsuits, warnings or preliminary injunctions. In this regard, a regular emphasis of her work is also placed on measures against acts of unfair competition by business competitors.
At law school, Svea majored in international business law and European law. She completed her legal clerkship at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court of Hamburg. During this time, she gained experience, inter alia, in the litigation department of an international law firm as well as at a law firm in Taipei, Taiwan.
Before and during her legal clerkship, Svea already worked as a research assistant in the field of intellectual property law in our Hamburg office.
