Reduce and Reuse: Disposable Cup Savings in 2013

In an effort to reduce waste, we recently launched a mug program in which most of our offices provided each employee with a Hogan Lovells mug and implemented a $.05 charge per disposable cup. We are pleased to announce that, after implementing this program, we saw our disposable cup usage decline by 34,330 cups from 2012 to 2013, just in our Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia, and Miami offices!

In addition, we were able to make a sizable donation to the Arbor Day Foundation as a result of the fees collected through disposable cup usage.
