Munich Office Saves Electricity and Supports Local Touch Charity

In celebration of Earth Day 2014, our Munich office held an energy savings competition between its two office buildings during May and June. Residents of the winning building found that by ensuring computers and lights were switched off, their energy consumption was reduced by 17.5%. The money saved from this initiative was donated to the office's local Touch charity partner Die Arche, which supports children from disadvantaged families with social activities and after-school programs such as sport and music classes.

In a further fundraising effort for Die Arche, the office also partook in the "Ice Bucket Challenge," raising money for both Die Arche and the ALS Association, a U.S.-based nonprofit organization fighting Lou Gehrig's Disease.
