Global Touch Charity Partner Lendwithcare Holds Workshop

Our global Touch charity partner Lendwithcare, through Care International, recently held a three-day workshop in our London office for its microfinance institution (MFI) partners from across the globe.

Lendwithcare is Care International's microlending initiative, which allows individual donors to provide microloans to entrepreneurs in seven developing countries. Over the next two years, our donations will fund approximately 400 entrepreneurs in their small business ventures. 

Microfinance representatives from Zambia, Togo, Cambodia, and Pakistan, to name a few, gathered to learn more about microfinance systems in other countries, develop global and local partnerships, and share best practice. For some, it was their first time travelling outside of their home countries and they were all looking forward to seeing more of London throughout the week.

As part of our Touch partnership with Lendwithcare, members of the firm also provided pro bono advice to Lendwithcare and their MFI partners during the workshop, as well as throughout the course of our two-year partnership.
