Cycling for charity

Scorching heat. Bumpy roads. Massive hills. Four colleagues from London and Hong Kong tackled a 650-kilometer fundraising ride from Laos to Cambodia.

Kathy Savage, Christine Siler, Scott Taylor, and Alex Williams were part of a larger group of 24 cyclists that collectively raised more than £80,000 for Lendwithcare through Care International. The microfinance program provides entrepreneurs in developing countries with the necessary funds to kick-start their own businesses, work their way out of poverty, and provide for their families.

Along the road, our people had the opportunity to meet some of the entrepreneurs who are benefiting from their fundraising and to see firsthand how the loans can improve the lives of the hard-working and hospitable recipients and their families. Our people have raised more than £12,000, not including the firm match.
