Baked goods and bikes

Our colleagues in Brussels paid a visit to past charity partner La Cité Joyeuse to lend a hand for the day.

Volunteers spent their time preparing desserts for the nearly 300 people it feeds daily and repairing bikes, leaving behind a repair kit to help the organization maintain its fleet going forward. In the past, we have raised funds; prepared meals; collected clothing and toy donations; and helped with gardening, painting, and other maintenance.

La Cité Joyeuse serves children and their families. It comprises an orphanage, a day center for children with disabilities, a school, and a nursery.
