A first in Kentucky

Our Global Business Center in Louisville selected Boys & Girls Haven as its inaugural Touch charity partner.

Touch is the matched giving element of our Citizenship program. The firm matches funds raised by our people, supporting a nonprofit in each of our cities as well as one global charitable partner. The Louisville GBSC, which was officially opened by our CEO Steve Immelt and Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer in November 2016, invited four local charities out of 23 initially nominated to present to its people. Boys & Girls Haven was chosen after a vote.

Boys & Girls Haven provides care for teenagers that have been abandoned, abused, or neglected, helping them transition to foster care or independent living. Since its foundation in 1948 the organization has transformed the lives of thousands of teenagers.
