Hogan Lovells builds on longstanding collaboration with Dress for Success in Luxembourg

Luxembourg 3 May 2024 - Hogan Lovells' Luxembourg office has teamed up with the international non-profit organisation Dress for Success since 2017 for its ambitious work-readiness program supporting refugee and migrant women.

Senior associate Agnes Merz and associate Mathilde Soetens are strongly committed to this program, volunteering as regular speakers on labour law at workshops in their bi-annual training programs. The work-readiness program provides information and tools for women to efficiently enter the job market to become financially independent. It is also an opportunity to build a network with the trainers and other participants.

The Hogan Lovells Luxembourg office previously hosted two graduation ceremonies to celebrate the successful completion of the program and marking the first step into the women’s future careers – a rewarding and emotional moment for both women and trainers.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year in Luxembourg, Dress for Success has successfully supported over 1,000 women locally, and has grown its reach significantly over the years - from clothes donations for job interviews to a professional job training process. The firm will continue its long-standing collaboration providing legal expertise and financial support.
