Hong Kong Zhuhai Macau Bridge gets the go ahead

On 27 September 2011, the Court of Appeal ("CA") overturned the earlier ruling by the Court of First Instance ("CFI") in a judicial review of the approval of the environmental impact assessment ("EIA") reports for the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macau Bridge ("HKZMB") projects. The CFI's ruling not only delayed the HKZMB projects, it is also said to have delayed other projects in Hong Kong, and so yesterday's decision is of major interest to proponents of current and future projects in Hong Kong.
