Rob Peel is based in London and is part of the business restructuring and insolvency team. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Rob worked at leading law firms in London and South Africa.

He regularly advises bondholder committees in cross-border restructurings. His practice also includes advising banks, insolvency practitioners, funds and corporates in restructuring situations.

Advising a group of Greek bank lenders in relation to the restructuring of French pharmaceutical company Famar's indebtedness.

Advising the ad hoc committee of bondholders on Edcon's 2015 debt exchange and 2016 debt equitisation; advising the bondholder-owned Newco on 2018 restructuring.*

Advising the ad hoc committee of bondholders on the restructuring of the indebtedness of English oil and gas producer EnQuest.*

Advising the administrators in relation to the pre-pack administration of Paragon Offshore, an oil rig operator.*

Advising Westinghouse in relation to the European aspects of its Chapter 11 filing.*

Advising the ad hoc committee of bondholders in relation to the restructuring of Ukraine's sovereign indebtedness.*
