Tom works with private credit funds, banks and private equity sponsors on acquisition and other leveraged finance transactions, often with a cross-border element. These include straight senior, unitranche/super senior, first-out/last-out and PIK structures as well as restructurings. He enjoys collaborating with clients and other parties to progress from term-sheet stage through funding and beyond.
Before joining Hogan Lovells, he spent a year with Lloyds Banking Group supporting deal teams with acquisition finance (mid-market and large cap), fund finance, project finance and investment grade transactions. He trained with the London office of a US law firm, then qualified into their finance team and worked on deals involving the hospitality, fintech and alternative lending sectors.
