Hogan Lovells leads US$120 million IDB Invest Caribbean hotel chain funding

New York, 25 January 2022 — A team from global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised IDB Invest in a $120 million financing of Grupo Piñero, a hotel operator in the Caribbean and Mexico with 27 hotels in the region. Further details about the transaction can be found here.
IDB Invest is a multilateral development bank committed to promoting the economic development of its member countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. IDB Invest’s financing will support Grupo Piñero in the reopening of its hotels in the Dominican Republic and Jamaica that were closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
