Hogan Lovells advises Korelya Capital on its investment in Wallapop

Hogan Lovells advised Korelya Capital, an investment fund co-founded by Fleur Pellerin and Antoine Dresch and backed by South Korean group Naver, on the signing of an investment agreement in Wallapop at a USD 840m valuation.

Founded in 2014, Wallapop is a Spanish virtual marketplace for buying and selling second-hand goods. It boasts a community of 15 million users.This operation will allow Wallapop to consolidate its position in Spain and expand into other markets, such as Italy. 

A Hogan Lovells French-Spanish team advised Korelya Capital led by Xavier Doumen and Stéphane Huten, partners in Paris and Graciela Llaneza, partner in Madrid.

In Paris, the team included Xavier Doumen and Stéphane Huten (partners) and Bob Zeller (associate) on the Corporate aspects. 

In Madrid, the team included Graciela Llaneza (partner) and Mariana Blanco (associate) on the Corporate aspects; Gonzalo F. Gállego (partner) and Juan Ramón Robles (associate) on the Data Protection and Cybersecurity aspects; David Antón (Counsel) on the Regulatory aspects; Javier Gazulla (partner) on the Tax aspects.
