Hogan Lovells advises banks on the placement of a bond of Eurogrid GmbH

Led by Frankfurt partner Dr Jochen Seitz, global law firm Hogan Lovells advised a syndicate of banks consisting of BNP Paribas, Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft as well as ING Bank N.V. and NatWest Markets N.V. on the placement of a bond of Eurogrid GmbH with an issuance volume of EUR 650 million. 

The corporate bond with a maturity of 7 years and a coupon of 3.722 percent was successfully placed and admitted to trading on the regulated market in Luxembourg on April 27, 2023. Prior to that, Hogan Lovells advised the dealers under the on the update of the debt issuance programme. 

 

Eurogrid, parent company of the transmission system operator 50Hertz, used the bond to raise additional liquidity on the capital market for investments in the power grid infrastructure for the energy transition.
