Hogan Lovells advises ORCA Group on its quadruple acquisition to create the Angeloni Group

Paris, 4 July 2019 - Hogan Lovells advised ORCA Group, a significant manufacturer of engineered and coated fabrics for niche markets, in relation to a quadruple acquisition in order to create the Angeloni Group, operating in the technical composite materials market.

This new entity will bring together the following companies : G.Angeloni srl, a trading company for composite raw materials; ITT srl which develops and produces reinforced textiles or fabrics based on tech fibres, Dynanotex srl, which develops and produces special reinforcements through patented technologies; Impregnatex Compositi srl, which develops and produces pre-preg reinforcements.

This unification into a single vertically integrated group (weaving, impregnation, distribution) is designed to provide a high level of service to clients, but also target niche markets around the world.

A Franco-Italian Hogan Lovells team has advised ORCA Group. In Paris, the team was made up of Stéphane Huten (partner), Arnaud Deparday (Counsel) and Léonie Bontoux on Corporate aspects ; Alexander Premont (partner), Sophie Lok (Counsel) et Ouassila El Asri (associate) on financing aspects ; Laurent Ragot (Counsel) et Christina Nichiporuk (associate) on tax aspects.
