Hogan Lovells advises Enel Produzione S.p.A. on its acquisition of ERG Hydro S.r.l.

Milan, 05 August 2021 – International law firm Hogan Lovells have advised Enel Produzione on the acquisition of the entire share capital of ERG Hydro, part of ERG Power Generation. The deal is valued at approximately EUR 1 billion.
The transaction is expected to complete at the beginning of 2022 and is subject to the various conditions, including receiving authorisation from the competent antitrust authority. It also must have successfully completed the golden power procedure at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
The cross practice team was led by Italy’s country managing partner Luca Picone, with support from associate Francesco De Michele, partner Francesca Angeloni and senior associate Emanuela Cocco for administrative law related aspects, partner Sabrina Borocci and senior associate Aurora Muselli for antitrust matters and partner Vittorio Moresco and senior associate Fabrizio Grillo for labour law aspects.
