Hogan Lovells advises Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena on two new bond issuances

Milan, 05 February 2020 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena in two new significant issuances of bonds under the Debt Issuance Programme of the bank including:

The issuance of unsecured senior preferred bonds for an overall amount of EUR€750 million. The issuance registered the interest from approximately 150 institutional investors with an order-book of approximately EUR€1.2 billion. The bonds bear fixed interest rate with a five-years maturity and have been listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange;

The issuance of a Tier2 subordinated bonds for an overall amount of EUR€400 million. The issuance registered the interest from approximately 100 institutional investors with an order-book of EUR€900 million. The bonds have a 10 years maturity with a fixed-to-floating coupon and may be early redeemed after five years subject to the approval of the relevant authorities. The bonds have been listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange
