Eduardo Ustaran appointed to the DCMS International Data Transfers Expert Council

London, 25 January 2022 – Hogan Lovells is pleased to announce that Eduardo Ustaran, partner and Co-Head of the global Privacy and Cybersecurity practice, has been appointed to the UK Government’s International Data Transfers Expert Council. The Council consists of a group of world-leading experts that will provide the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) with independent insights and perspectives on the UK’s policy development and delivery on international data transfers.

The Council is made up of 20 members, drawn from academia, industry and civil society. 

Eduardo Ustaran is widely recognised as one of the world's leading privacy and data protection lawyers and thought leaders. With over 25 years of experience, Eduardo advises multinationals and governments around the world on the adoption of privacy and cybersecurity strategies and policies.
