Lyndsay Montour represents clients in a broad range of strategic transactions, both domestic and international. With a practice primarily focused on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, divestitures, corporate restructurings and matters related to corporate governance, she enjoys the complexity and high-stakes nature of sophisticated deal work, and thrives in high-pressure environments.

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Lyndsay worked in the Houston office of an international law firm, where her practice encompassed a wide variety of corporate and financial transactions.

While attending law school, Lyndsay served as the Lead Articles Editor for the Suffolk University Law Review, and the President of the Native American Law Students Association.

Representative experience

Represented Platform Partners in connection with acquisitions, add-on transactions, dispositions, and other matters with respect to its various portfolio companies.
Advised DCC plc on an agreement to acquire a portion of NGL Energy Partners LP's Retail Propane Business for US$200m in cash.
Represented Dos Rios Partners, L.P. in connection with acquisitions, add-on transactions, dispositions, and other matters with respect to its various portfolio companies.
Advised Tailwater Capital LLC in an initial equity commitment of US$100m to a newly formed portfolio company, Producers Midstream LP. *
Represented a global insurance and reinsurance company in its acquisition of a specialist marine insurance agency.*
Represented Dos Rios Partners, L.P. and Pathfinder Aviation Holdings, LLC, in the acquisition of an Alaska-based aviation company.*
Represented Dos Rios Partners, L.P. and Pro EM Operations, LLC, in a transaction where Pro EM Operations acquired the assets of Pro Em Party and Event Rentals.*
Represented Karbach Brewing Co. in the sale of the Texas craft brewer to Anheuser-Busch InBev.*
Represented King Ranch, Inc. in the sale of the assets of Young Pecan, Inc. and KR Southwest Nut, Inc. to NP Young, LLC.*
Represented Kraken Oil & Gas II, LLC in a US$200m equity commitment from Kayne Anderson Energy Fund VII, L.P.*
Represented SureTec Financial Corp. in a definitive agreement for Markel Corporation to acquire SureTec for approximately US$250m, inclusive of a three-year earn out.*
