Andrea Montague-Doghan represents large multinationals on complex and high-value international arbitrations and cross-border disputes. Andrea focuses her practice on disputes encompassing a broad range of industries and business sectors including energy and natural resources, banking, telecommunications, hospitality, transportation and construction.

Andrea has extensive experience handling international commercial disputes in both ad hoc and institutional arbitrations under all major arbitral rules including ICC, LCIA, HKIAC and UNCITRAL. She is experienced in all stages of the arbitration process as well as arbitration related litigation, including jurisdictional challenges, consolidation of arbitrations and challenges to and the enforcement of arbitral awards.

Her diverse workload has included disputes in Africa, Asia and Europe. These disputes have included joint venture disputes, post M&A disputes, and disputes involving company law, contract law, public international law and human rights law.

Technology is influencing all areas of law, including litigation and arbitration. Andrea works with clients to help them understand their shifting risk landscape, as technology disrupts their industries, and helps them to ensure they're maximising the use of technology to mitigate those risks.

Andrea spent four years working in the dispute resolution group of the Hong Kong office of Hogan Lovells.
