As a member of the Tax practice for over 10 years, Maria Cristina Conte concentrates in all the tax issues related to insurance and financial transactions, such as securitization, lending activities, asset finance, factoring or other transfer of receivables agreement, NPL and the like, dealing with corporate income tax, VAT, Tobin Tax, insurance premium tax and other transfer taxes, in both contentious and non-contentious environments. Whether clients need assistance on day-to-day tax matters, are looking for tax advice on the structuring or analysis of a financial or insurance product, or are in need of tax support in the framework of a transaction, Maria Cristina is a well-versed lawyer, very responsive and always available to satisfy clients' needs and requests in an efficient and timely manner.

As a member of the Tax practice, daily supporting other practices of the Firm on any tax issue they may face, Maria Cristina focuses on the taxation of insurance and financial products, on income and transfer taxes applicable in the framework of financial and corporate transactions, as well as on custom and VAT issues related to insurance or financial transactions, such as securitization, lending activities, asset finance, factoring or other transfer of receivables agreement, NPL. In addition to that, she has developed a profound experience (i) in the medical device sector (with a special eye on tax issues related to the importation/commercialization of medical devices), as well as (ii) in the taxation of incentive plans operated by multinational groups.
