Gabriel is an associate within Hogan Lovells' Paris office, focusing his practice on data privacy and cybersecurity, IT, Telecommunications and commercial law.

His passion for complex and innovative matters and proactiveness allow him to efficiently advise French and international clients in sectors as diverse as information technology, telecommunications, media, transportation and automotive in the context of transactions, negotiations, investigations and disputes. 

In addition, Gabriel has taught telecommunications and personal data protection law at the University of Paris V Descartes, Paris II Assas and Paris Dauphine. Gabriel was also a member for three years of the teaching team of the legal clinic of the Law School of ‘Sciences Po’ in the field of corporate social responsibility and volunteers at the first-responder association: Protection Civile Paris Seine. 

Before joining Hogan Lovells, Gabriel worked in the IT/TMT department of several law firms in Paris.

Representative experience

Assisting clients in proceedings before the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL) and more generally in data protection issues (DPAs, privacy notices, international transfers etc). 

Assisting media undertakings on their compliance with French cookies regulations.

Advising clients on the negotiation of commercial agreements and disputes related to such agreements (sudden and wrongful termination, commercial agency, distributor and franchise agreements etc). 

Assisting a hosting provider in disputes with respect to the availability of its services and loss of data.

Advising a satellite operator on the deployment of a constellation of non-geostationary low-orbit satellites, and for the installation of thousands of earth stations and antennas in France.

Advising a mobile virtual network operator in the context of (i) interconnection and numbering rules compliance disputes including before French courts and (ii) commercial disputes with its customers.

Advising a major messaging service provider on the impact on its business and litigation strategy of its obligations as an electronic communications provider. 

Assisting a manufacturer of automated vehicles on the EU and French regulation of automated vehicles.
