Julia Gingelmaier advises on all aspects of national and European antitrust and competition law as well as ESG regulatory compliance.

Her practice includes national and international merger control proceedings. She also advises on cartel investigations and abuse of dominance proceedings before the German Federal Cartel Office and the European Commission, as well as on the defence and enforcement of antitrust damages claims.

Another focus of Julia's practice is corporate social responsibility as well as ESG compliance advice with a specific focus on the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (SCDDA) and the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD).

Julia studied law at the Freie Universität Berlin and completed an LL.M. in International Business Law with a focus on climate change and sustainability in Amsterdam. During her legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Berlin, she worked inter alia for international law firms in the fields of regulatory, antitrust and competition law in Berlin and Brussels, as well as in the European Policy Department of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action.
