Our team here focuses on the life sciences, food and beverage, education, insurance, telecommunications, and financial services industry sectors, particularly in relation to regulatory, capital markets, M&A, civil litigation, and white collar investigation issues. Our clients range from startups to blue chip companies. Our deep understanding of the region’s courts, regulators, and enforcement agencies allows us to help them blaze new paths, fix what’s broken, and protect what’s not.

The facts about Philadelphia

  • Our team includes approximately 25 lawyers and 16 professionals. The size of our office provides an excellent opportunity for one-on-one contact with partners.
  • We typically have three summer associates join us each year.
  • We’re located in the heart of the business district within walking distance to Philadelphia’s best restaurants, museums, and shopping.
  • Our office space, built in 2017, has an open design with a welcoming environment, state-of-the-art technology, and views of the Philadelphia skyline.
  • We like to be social – we get together monthly to recognize birthdays, host happy hours in the Landing (one of our communal spaces), and enjoy annual summer and holiday gatherings.

Our pro bono work

Through the Philadelphia Homeless Advocacy Project, we sponsor two legal clinics at city shelters – a bi-monthly clinic at a men’s shelter and a quarterly clinic at a women’s and family shelter.

We represented Thinking Beyond Borders Inc. (TBB), an educational institution that touts itself as the global leader in “gap year” programs, in a sale of substantially all of its assets to Pure Nomad Inc., a Delaware stock corporation. Pure Nomad offers TBB a robust operation and infrastructure that can improve the quality and efficiency of its programs and ultimately allow it to further its charitable and educational mission.

Our community outreach

We help prepare and cook meals at MANNA, which provides nourishing food to people in the area who are suffering from critical illness.

We volunteer at the Morris Animal Refuge, which helps homeless, abandoned, and unwanted pets in the area. We walk dogs, clean animal cages, and help with other duties around the shelter as needed.

We host donation drives to collect in-kind items for the People’s Emergency Center, which helps homeless families achieve housing and financial security.
