Our pro bono work
We staff a monthly legal clinic in a local homeless shelter to provide legal intake, limited representation in a variety of matters, and referral services.
We assist low-income victims of domestic violence seeking civil protection orders at hearings before Northern Virginia juvenile and domestic relations district courts.
Our community outreach
A group of crafters in our office, dubbed the Fibre Squad, gets together twice a week to create items such as hats, scarves, gloves, mittens, socks, wraps, afghans, and throws for TERRIFIC, Inc. (Temporary Emergency Residential Resource Institute for Families In Crisis, Inc.).
Throughout the year, we hold a variety of community service events designed to give our people an opportunity to contribute to the betterment of our community. These activities demonstrate how our office can organize as a group to make the most impact.
Partner Tim Lyden was recently named Executive Leader of the Year by the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce for his outstanding contributions at the firm and exceptional leadership in the community.
