Based in Hong Kong with extensive experience working in the London office of Hogan Lovells, he regularly acts for funds and lenders on a wide range of financing products; both at the fund level involving bridge financing, NAV/asset backed facilities and hybrid facilities, and also on the asset level involving non-recourse lending or event driven lending.
Derrick has a good understanding of the commercial realities of debt financing transactions and has worked as an in-house legal counsel at a major investment bank.
