Derrick 'works well under tight deadlines'

Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2018 Guide

Derrick focuses his practice on all areas of debt financing with a particular emphasis on fund financing and acquisition financing.

Based in Hong Kong with extensive experience working in the London office of Hogan Lovells, he regularly acts for funds and lenders on a wide range of financing products; both at the fund level involving bridge financing, NAV/asset backed facilities and hybrid facilities, and also on the asset level involving non-recourse lending or event driven lending.

Derrick has a good understanding of the commercial realities of debt financing transactions and has worked as an in-house legal counsel at a major investment bank. He has a proven track record of delivering results to his clients and was mentioned by one client in the Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2018 Guide as being able to "work well under tight deadlines".
