As an associate in our International Arbitration group with a common law background, admitted both as a solicitor in England and Wales and to the Paris bar, Kate has experience representing states, companies and individuals in high-stakes international arbitrations, notably those governed by ICC, LCIA and UNCITRAL rules, as well as in English court proceedings. Kate trained in the UK and, prior to joining Hogan Lovells, worked in the technology sector.

Representative experience

Representing a state in Southeast Europe in a multimillion-dollar ICC arbitration arising from a cost recovery dispute over the operation of the country's biggest onshore oilfield.

Representing an American petrochemical company in an ICC arbitration against a French petrochemical company relating to a post-acquisition dispute and operational issues relating to a plant in France.

Representing shareholders of a British online fashion and retail brand in a UNCITRAL arbitration relating to an unfair prejudice claim.

Representing an American distributor of personal protective equipment in an LCIA arbitration concerning the sale and distribution of such equipment during the pandemic.

Representing a German energy logistics company in a professional negligence claim against its former lawyers in the English High Court.

Representing a multinational company in an ICC arbitration brought against a Filipino conglomerate in a dispute arising from the sale of shares in a publicly-listed company in the Philippines.
