Pablo Gardea provides creative and effective solutions to clients' corporate and tax needs. He focuses on understanding his clients' positioning and long-term strategy in order to best counsel them through complex domestic and cross-border transactions.

Pablo's practice includes private investment fund formation, public and private securities offerings, mergers, acquisitions, portfolio divestments, and SEC compliance matters. Pablo regularly advises established and first-time investment fund managers on legal and corporate matters, as well as individuals and institutions on potential investments and negotiations with fund sponsors. He also helps clients structure incentive arrangements in joint ventures and other investment agreements. Pablo has experience helping companies develop governance structures and implement corporate compliance programs.

While in law school, Pablo served as the Senior Articles Editor for the Georgetown Journal of International Law and was deeply involved in community service. He fulfilled his school's pro bono pledge, achieving the highest pro bono recognition level. To this day, he maintains a robust pro bono practice focused on immigration and social entrepreneurship.

Represented a private investment firm in connection with the structuring and organizing of a Qualified Opportunity Fund.

Advised an investment management firm in a joint venture with a large real estate developer for the acquisition and development of real estate.

Advised a private investment firm on the formation of its sixth credit fund focusing on life sciences and technology companies.

Advised a D.C.-based biotech social enterprise on organizational and corporate governance matters.

Advised a sponsor on the formation of a social impact investment fund to support the creation and preservation of workforce housing in the Washington, D.C. area.

Represented a global asset manager in connection with the negotiation and investment of over US$400m in U.S.-based private equity funds.
