Mauricio Fuchs is a legal adviser for Mexican and foreign companies dealing with corporate affairs, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, energy and infrastructure transactions, structured financing, asset financing (vessels and aircrafts), and real estate.

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Mauricio worked in the Mexico City office of another global law firm, where he participated in a number of cross-border transactions involving, among other matters, ship and aircraft financing, infrastructure projects, real estate developments, project financing, and restructuring and financing of projects related to the energy sector.

Drafting and negotiation of area of mutual interest agreements (AMI), joint bidding agreements (JBA), and joint operating agreements (JOA).

Structuring, drafting, and negotiation of integrated exploration and extraction services agreements (CSIEE) for contractual areas of San Ramón y Blasillo and Olmos.

Advised on the migration of existing allocations (asignaciones) into exploration and extraction agreements (including Ek-Balam, Misión, Santuario El Golpe, and Ebano).

Advised clients on the bidding process for CNH's Round 1.4 and 2.4 and in the execution of the corresponding exploration and extraction agreements.

Due diligence of power generation projects (cogeneration, wind, and solar).

Drafting and negotiation of oil, gas, and condensate commercialization agreements.

Assisted clients for the participation in SENER's first transmission line bidding process.

Advised clients on the acquisition process for renewable power generation projects.

Advised clients on the purchase, sale, and lease back of aircrafts and engines.

Advised clients on the purchase, sale, and financing of vessels.

Advised clients on a syndicate loan of approximately US$700m for the financing of five drilling rigs.

Advised real estate developers on the financing structures implemented for the development of real estate projects.

Participated in several internal investigations of private and public companies.

Advised in joint operating agreements for farm-out bidding procedures by the National Hydrocarbon Commission for TRION, Ayin-Batsil, Cardenas Mora, Ogarrio, and onshore clusters.
