Washington Metropolitan Area Corporate Counsel Association and Hogan Lovells host: Minimize the Risks - Structuring Employee Mobility in a Global Workplace

09 May 201212:00 PM - 2:00 PM (EST) McLean

Presented by William P. Flanagan and Barbara M. Roth of Hogan Lovells US LLP and Cécile G. Neuvens, Associate General Counsel, International Partnership for Microbicides.

Relocation of an employee from one country to another can expose the employer to liability in multiple jurisdictions.  When done properly, liability can be limited.  We will discuss temporary transfers, secondments, and local hires, and the factors employers should consider (including retirement plans and benefits) in deciding which to use and how to structure the relocation.  The presentation will include a checklist of do’s and don’ts for those faced with these issues.

WMACCA will apply for 1.5 hours of Virginia MCLE credit.

To register, please contact Ann Cottrell at ann.cottrell@hoganlovells.com or +1 703 610 6107.
